After four decades of service, David Heaton, Hindle Reman’s Office Supervisor, retired on 24th December 2025. Since joining the company in December 1985, David has been an integral part of the team, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

David was a key contact for customers throughout his career, handling quotations, invoicing, and tirelessly following up on customer jobs. His professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to service made him a trusted figure to many and a reliable pillar of the Hindle Reman team.

Known for his ‘larger than life’ personality, David’s energy, good humour, and team spirit have left a lasting impression across the company. Customers and colleagues alike hold him in high regard, reflecting the positive impact he has had over the years.

Craig Barrow, Sales Manager, shared his thoughts on David’s career:
“David started at Hindle just a few months after me in 1985, and we’ve worked together for 40 years. His dedication, knowledge, and friendly presence will be greatly missed. It has been a pleasure to work alongside him, and I wish him a long and happy retirement.”

Looking ahead, David plans to enjoy a few weeks of peace and quiet, taking each day as it comes before being joined in retirement by his wife, Carol, in early 2026 – when the retirement adventure can really begin!
